Substack Social

Free workshop Tuesday 29th September 8pm

Everyone’s talking about Substack but you’re not sure if you should be on it or if it’s just something else you’d be adding to your to do list but won’t do much for your business.

In this free workshop I’ll be answering three big questions

  • Should you be on Substack? Is it really worth it?
  • How easy is it to grow on Substack?
  • How do you monetise your content on Substack?

Should you start a Substack?

You've heard people talk about it.

Maybe one of those mega visible coaches is already using it. Maybe someone in your network mentioned "their Substack" like it's obviously a thing now.

And you're sat there wondering:

Is Substack right for me? How do I actually grow on it? And can it really make me money — or is that just for people already famous?

You want to know before you start creating content that doesn’t actually bring in any business..

What social media is costing you….

You're not just spending time on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. You're renting space you don't own, on land that changes the rules whenever it likes.

=

You write something good — a real idea, something that took time, thought and effort but the algorithm decides whether anyone sees it.

=

You build an audience, then the platform changes overnight and half of them vanish from your reach or worse you get your account suspended without any way to get it back. You lose your entire audience overnight.

=

Every post is a one-off. There's no ownership, no list, nothing that's actually yours if the platform disappears tomorrow — and platforms have disappeared before (remember Clubhouse?)

=

You write something good — a real idea, something that took time, thought and effort but the algorithm decides whether anyone sees it.

You're pouring in hours every week and you still don't own a single subscriber's inbox.

What's actually possible on Substack?

This isn't a fringe platform anymore, and it isn't just for journalists and politics junkies.

  • Substack now has over 35 million active subscriptions — and more than 5 million of those are people paying to read.
  • Traffic has nearly quadrupled in a year: 175.9 million visits in August 2026, up from 47.6 million the previous September.
  • People don't just glance and go — the average visit lasts over four minutes, across four pages. On a platform built for reading, people actually read.
  • Nearly 100,000 publications are now making money on Substack — roughly double the number from a year ago. This isn't a handful of already well known names anymore; it's a normal, repeatable way to earn.
  • The readership sits exactly where a lot of service-based businesses need it: professionals aged 25–54 make up nearly 60% of the audience, split almost evenly between women and men.

And no, you don't need to be a big name pulling in millions a year to make this worthwhile. Most people building a real, sustainable income on Substack are doing it with just a few hundred engaged subscribers who trust them.

Come and find out if it’s right for you

In this free workshop, I'll answer the three questions everyone asks me before they start:

Is Substack right for me? How do I grow on Substack? How do I monetise my content on Substack?

No hype. No "just go viral." Just a clear, honest look at whether this platform fits your business and exactly what to do next if it does.
