Saying It Simply

Finding the Words for Your Work

a two week writing experience

Starts Monday 15th June 2026

Earlybird Price £99 - offer ends Friday 5th June

A calm, 14-day writing experience for business owners who want to remove the fear around their words and talk about their work clearly, simply, and in their own voice.

You know your work is valuable so why is it so hard to put it into words?

You sit down to write about your business and… nothing.

Or worse - everything at once. A jumble of half-ideas, disclaimers, and that creeping feeling that however you say it, it won't be quite right.

You start typing. Delete it. Start again.

Then you compare what you've written to that post you’ve seen from someone who does what you do and think “shit, they said it better than I ever could”.

You worry you'll look foolish. Or like you don't know what you're talking about. Or that people won't see you as a serious professional because you don't sound "expert" enough.

So you overthink it. Rewrite it. Feed it to ChatGPT and get back something that’s structured well, makes sense and is grammatically perfect but could have been written by literally anyone. You leave it in drafts. Or you post something that sounds fine but doesn't feel like you, and then spend the next three hours wondering if anyone understood what you actually meant.

And the whole thing takes so long that by the time you've actually published a post, you can't be arsed to do it again. Which means you're not consistent. Which means you feel like you're failing. Again.

The problem isn't that you don't have anything to say.

The problem is:

You get stuck in your head

You have too many ideas and no idea which one to write about first

You don't know how to show up as an expert without sounding like someone you're not

You worry about oversharing (or undersharing, or getting the balance wrong)

You want to sound like yourself but you don't know how to translate the way you think into the way you write

And no one has helped you figure out how to actually do any of this.

This is about finding the right words and having the confidence to use them

"I've had a lot of ideas in my head for years and I'm slowly moving forwards with them one at a time. Before I had support I'd have all of these ideas and often not do anything with them because I didn't know where to start."

Saying It Simply is a calm, 14-day writing experience designed to help you remove the fear around your words and talk about your work clearly, simply, and in your own voice.

It’s not about posting more. It isn't about "getting it right." It isn't about performing confidence you don't feel or sounding like every other business owner in your feed.

This is about working out how to get what's in your head into words that make sense - so that when people read your content, they think "Yes, that's me."

And so that when you read your content, you think "Yes, that's actually what I meant to say."

Over 14 days, with rest days built in, you'll work through 7 focused prompts that help you:

  • Understand why you keep getting stuck in your head
  • Name your work without jargon, hype, or borrowing language from your peers
  • Filter your ideas so you know what to write about first instead of drowning in possibilities
  • Find the line between sharing yourself and oversharing
  • Write in a way that sounds like how you actually think and talk - not like ChatGPT, not like someone else in your industry
  • Show up as an expert without losing your personality, credibility, or the will to live

By the end, you'll have a few key messages, clarity, language you trust, and the confidence to sound like yourself.

Who This Is For

This experience is for business owners who:

E

Get stuck in their head and overthink every single word

E

Don't want to look stupid or foolish or like they don't know what they're talking about

E

Worry that people don't see them as a serious professional

E

Want the confidence to be more themselves and sound more like themselves in their content

E

Don't know how much to share about themselves before it becomes oversharing

E

Find that the time it takes to write content means they can't always be bothered - which kills their consistency

You do not need to post publicly during this experience . (But you can if you want to. Obviously.)

How it Works

14 days. 7 prompts. Rest days built in.

This is a writing experience with breathing room. You work every other day - prompt on Day 1, rest on Day 2, prompt on Day 3, rest on Day 4, and so on.

The rest days aren't filler. They're processing time. Time for what you've written to settle. Time to come back with fresh eyes. Time to let the thinking happen without forcing it.

On prompt days, you'll receive:

    • One short prompt (audio, video, or written)
    • One focused thinking + writing exercise (20-30 minutes)
    • Structures and frameworks you can use again and again
    • The outputs are key messages and reusable structures, not polished content. You can do this imperfectly. You can take an extra rest day if you need it. You can rewrite everything on Day 13 if something clicks.
    • This is calm, human, and flexible by design.

    The 7 Prompts

    1. Why the Words Get Stuck & What You're Really Trying to Say

Understanding why you get stuck in your head, and cutting through the noise to find your core message

    2. Naming Your Work & Filtering Your Ideas

How to explain what you do simply + how to know what to write about when you have too many ideas

    3. Who It's For & What They Actually Ask You

Getting specific about your audience + mining the language they already use (your best content filter)

    4. Your Perspective & The Line Between Sharing and Oversharing

Owning your expertise without performance + how much of yourself to include (and how to decide confidently)

    5. Writing Like You Think & The Expert Voice

How to sound like yourself, not ChatGPT + talking about your work with authority while staying human

    6. Structures That Work

Simple frameworks for short-form content, long-form content, and conversational writing you can use again and again

    7. Your Message Bank & Staying Consistent

Consolidating your key messages so you never start from scratch + the real reason consistency is hard and how to work with it

    Why this structure works

Rest days create processing time. You're not rushing from one exercise to the next.

You can sit with what came up, revisit what you wrote, let your brain make connections in the background.

The progression is logical - in the first week we build clarity and confidence and in week 2 we develop your voice and systems. By the end, you have both the internal clarity and the tools to write content that sounds like you.

You’ll leave the whole experience with reusable structures - so you're not reinventing the wheel every time you sit down to write.

The result is - a message bank + realistic approach to consistency = you can actually keep going after the two weeks is over.

    What You'll Leave With

By the end of the two weeks, you'll have:

Understanding of why you get stuck and how to work with it instead of fighting it

Key messages that explain your work in your own words

A clear filter for your ideas so you know what to write about first

The line between sharing and oversharing so you can be yourself without second-guessing

Your expert voice - confident but still human

A realistic approach to consistency that doesn't require you to feel motivated every day

Permission and tools to sound like yourself - not like ChatGPT, not like everyone else

Confidence that you know what you're talking about and that other people will see it too

And most importantly: the ability to write content that sounds like you, that doesn’t take hours, so you can actually be consistent.

    Questions?

Do I have to post publicly as part of this programme?

No. This is about finding your words first. What you do with them after is entirely up to you.

What if I miss a prompt day?

Take an extra rest day. Come back when you're ready. This isn't a race. The prompts will still be there.

Why are there rest days built in?

Because processing time matters. The rest days give your brain space to make connections, let ideas settle, and come back to your writing with fresh eyes. This isn't busywork - it's intentional design.

I've tried other writing challenges and they haven't helped. Why would this be different?

Because this isn't about writing more or getting better at tactics. It's about understanding why you get stuck in the first place, learning to filter your ideas, finding structures that work, and building the confidence to sound like yourself. Most challenges or courses skip all of that and go straight to "just post." This one doesn't.

What if I have too many ideas and don't know where to start?

I have prompts that specifically address this. You'll learn how to filter what matters and what to write about first so you're not paralysed by possibility.

I'm worried about sounding stupid or like I don't know what I'm talking about.

That's exactly why this experience exists. We'll work on owning your perspective and talking about your expertise without either downplaying it or sounding like someone you're not.

How is this different from just using ChatGPT?

ChatGPT can write grammatically correct content. It can’t write content that sounds like you. This experience focuses on writing like you think - how to translate your actual voice into your written content, so it doesn't sound like a generic AI voice.

I don't know how much to share about myself. How will this help?

We’ll address this directly. You'll get clear guidance on finding the line between sharing and oversharing so you can make confident decisions about what to include. It’s your boundary, I’ll help you find it.

Is this suitable for my business?

If you're a coach, consultant, therapist, designer, or any other service-based business owner - if you struggle to explain your work clearly and sound like yourself while doing it, this is for you.

What's the difference between Standard and VIP?

The VIP experience includes a 45-minute call where we review your work together, troubleshoot what's still stuck, and I can give you personalised feedback on your specific voice and messaging challenges. You'll also get help building your confidence around sounding like an expert in your own voice.
