Saying It Simply
Starts Monday 7th September 2026
Build a Business in Your Own Words
For coaches who are tired of second-guessing every post and want to talk about their work with clarity, confidence and their own voice.
Over seven lessons you'll create a body of writing you'll actually want to publish with personal feedback every step of the way.
In two weeks, you won't just understand how to talk about your business, you'll have seven pieces of writing, personal feedback on every one, and a clearer way of explaining what you do.
Early Bird Price £250 - offer ends Friday 14th August
You already know what you think. You just haven't worked out how to say it without sounding like someone else.
Does this sound familiar? You know your work inside out.
You can explain it brilliantly in a conversation. You can answer questions, coach your clients and help people see things differently.
But the moment you sit down to write about your own business, everything changes.
You stare at the screen wondering where to start.
You write something, read it back and think, "That doesn't sound like me."
So you tweak it.
And tweak it again.
Sometimes you ask ChatGPT to have a go. Sometimes you borrow a structure you've seen someone else use. Sometimes you give up altogether and promise yourself you'll come back to it tomorrow.
You know that talking about your work matters. You want to grow your business and every one is banging on about the importance of “visibility”.
But you don't want to sound like everyone else. You don’t want to sound and cringe. And you don't want to become one of those people who seems to spend all day talking about themselves online.
You'd just like to explain what you do in a way that feels natural, useful and recognisably you.
If that sounds familiar, you're in exactly the right place.
You’re not struggling because you're a bad writer.
In fact, it's often the opposite.
The more knowledgeable you are, the harder it can be to know where to begin. You know too much. You overthink. You worry about getting it right. And somewhere along the way, you stop trusting the words that would probably come most naturally if you were talking to a client over a cup of coffee.
So you try harder.
You look for better templates.
Better prompts.
Better formulas.
But writing doesn't become easier because someone gives you a different framework.
It becomes easier when you stop trying to sound like the person you think you should be, and start trusting the person your clients already know.
Imagine sitting down to write without that familiar knot in your stomach.
Imagine knowing what you want to say.
Imagine reading your words back and thinking, "Yes. That's me."
That's what this course is designed to help you do.

Introducing Saying It Simply 2.0
A guided, two-week writing programme for coaches who want to stop overthinking their marketing and start communicating with clarity, confidence and their own voice.
Over seven lessons, you'll receive one simple lesson every other day, a daily writing prompt to put it into practice, and thoughtful personal feedback from me on everything you write.
By the end of the programme, you won't just understand the ideas - we'll have built a body of writing together that sounds like you and is ready to use in your business.
What's included
We’re going to build your voice and your confidence one step at a time.
Seven bite-sized lessons
Every other day you'll receive a short lesson designed to help you understand why writing about your own business feels so difficult - and how to make it feel easier.
No long videos. No information overload. Just one simple idea at a time.
A writing prompt every day.
Each day you'll be given a practical prompt that helps you put the lesson into practice straight away.
By writing little and often, you'll stop staring at a blank page and start building a body of work that reflects your experience, your expertise and your personality.
Personal feedback from me
This is the part that makes all the difference.
Every piece of writing you share will receive thoughtful, individual feedback from me.
Not to turn your writing into something polished or "perfect", but to help you recognise the moments where your own voice shines through - and gently guide you towards more of them.
A growing collection of your own words
By the end of the programme you'll have written seven pieces that you can develop into LinkedIn posts, newsletters, website copy or keep as the foundation for talking about your business with more confidence.
More importantly, you'll know how you got there, so you can keep writing long after we’ve finished.
By the end of the course...
You'll stop wondering what to say every time you sit down to write.
Instead, you'll have a simple way of turning what you already know into words that feel natural and useful.
You'll spend less time second-guessing yourself and more time sharing your ideas.
You'll understand why writing about your own business has always felt harder than helping your clients and you'll know what to do differently.
You'll have seven pieces of original writing that sound like you, not like a template or an AI prompt.
You'll feel more confident explaining what you do, whether that's in a LinkedIn post, a networking conversation, on your website or over a coffee with a potential client.
And most importantly...
You'll leave knowing that you don't have to become louder, more polished or more like someone else to build a successful business.
You just need the words that already fit you.
How it works
This isn't a course you'll buy and never finish.
It's a guided writing experience that helps you build confidence by actually writing.
Over two weeks, I'll introduce one simple idea at a time, give you something to write, and personally support you as you put it into practice.
Here's what's included:
Seven writing prompts every other day
You'll receive seven writing prompts, delivered every other day, each one designed to help you communicate your business with more clarity and confidence.
By the end of the course, you'll have created a body of original writing that's ready to develop into LinkedIn posts, newsletters, website copy or anywhere else you talk about your business.
Personal feedback on everything you write
This is the biggest difference from previous versions of Saying It Simply.
Rather than simply learning about writing, you'll practise it.
I'll personally read what you write and give you thoughtful feedback, helping you recognise where your writing feels most like you and where you might be overthinking or making things more complicated than they need to be.
The goal isn't perfect writing.
It's clearer thinking and words you can trust.
A live coaching session
At the end of the course we'll come together for a live coaching call to answer your questions, celebrate what you've created and help you keep the momentum going.
Delivered in a private WhatsApp group
Everything happens in one supportive WhatsApp group, making it easy to keep up with the lessons, share your writing and receive feedback without needing to log into another platform. In this private pop-up community, you’ll be supported by me and other members of this special cohort - you’re all in the same boat.
Time to think
There are no lessons on the weekend.
Instead, you'll have space to reflect, catch up if you need to and let your ideas settle before we continue.

This is for you if you already know your subject inside out, the problem isn’t what you know it’s that you hate turning it into self -promotion and this is what’s keeping you stuck.
content in the module Design settings and even apply custom CSS to this text in the module Advanced settings.
It’s not for you Who this is for
It's not for you if what you want is a content calendar, a viral hook formula, prompts to pump into AI or someone else's voice to borrow for a while. This isn't that, on purpose.
Questions?
How is this different from the last version?
This round includes feedback on what you actually write - not just prompts to work through alone, but someone helping you notice and draw out the parts that really sound like you. It's designed to help you practise the writing and think more clearly at the same time, rather than one after the other.
What if I'm not a confident writer?
Good, it’s not for people who already find it easy. It's built for the people who get stuck.
Do I need to post anything publicly?
No. This is about the writing and the thinking behind it. What you do with it afterwards is entirely up to you.
What if I fall behind with prompts every other day?
Weekends off are built in for exactly this reason, and the pace is deliberately light - this fits around your working week, it’s not something else to feel bad about.
What people have said about Saying It Simply
"Through Clair’s Saying It Simply programme, with really well thought out prompts, I was able to clarify my marketing messages, get clear on who I was serving and why moving forward. Clair challenged me and was able to pull out the golden thread in all my waffle! Definitely worth the investment. I would highly recommend working with Clair if you want to gain confidence and clarity in what to post in a simple, realistic way.
Just spending time and energy thinking about what I do for others was massive.
It really helped me figure out what I wanted to say.
Just do it! It's hard but good hard. It will leave you clearer, more confident and positive in articulating why you are worth engaging with
If you feel like you going round in circles with your content, calls to action or even answering the question 'what do you do' then this can help you clarify this, simply, without creating a word salad or trying to describe yourself and your work in a way that follows a model that isn't relevant to you.
Thanks for your experience. It’s definitely something I will come back to and work through again and again."
